With generative AI the role has spread fast, because a model alone changes nothing. Someone has to connect it to identity, data, budgets and the people who must approve it, then stay until teams actually use it.

I write the code myself, in Python and TypeScript, with infrastructure as code, and I explain it to the people who have to say yes.
